If your bed comes with an upholstered headboard, the fixing points may be hidden beneath the fabric. Simply run your hand along to feel for them, then carefully pierce or cut the fabric to reveal the holes. Avoid cutting too wide to avoid damaging the upholstery -- these points align precisely with your headboard bolts.
